Festival “Mittenmang” in Bremen, Germany

The festival “Mittenmang” gather international performing artist. And on the 14th of May, it will welcome, Mozambican Choreographer Panaibra Gabriel with his new show “Borderlines”. After the show “Body and Soul” will be screened to the public.

About the movie

Victória, Mariana and Vasco are three young Mozambicans with physical disabilities, who live in the suburbs of the Mozambican capital, Maputo

Daily, they face their physical and emotional challenges. The film explores how they look at themselves and others and raises universal questions about self-acceptance and how to find one’s place in society.

 

Victória transmits the self-esteem she received from her education to other physically disabled women by organizing a fashion show.

Mariana uses her social energy to create helpful friendships and overcome urban architectural barriers.

Vasco does business in the informal sector.
